200.5 cc ds 1 battery wire bigger than the rest...boiling battery
On a cart that I just bought...1 battery pack wire is maybe 4 gauge compared to 6 ga. on the others. One of the batteries connected to that battery seems to boil on low amp charge(finish charge). Should I make sure all of my battery wires are the same size to help prevent this or is it possible that that battery is just that way? Pack is old...2015 but reads 51.9 as a pack..off charge and each battery reads 8.6. Any thoughts are appreciated. Btw I plan to upgrade all wires in the near future.

That wire is not causing the issue. The age of the pack is more so the culprit of the water level in that batery if higher.
Definitely need to replace all of them and I always use #2 gauge (AWG) cables. |
