Default 36v to 48v

I believe to take a 36v ezgo to a 48v ezgo I will need to change the controller, solenoid, and charging system. My question is what else am I forgetting about right now?

I have the batts. I have already wrote all the other stuff down like solenoid, controller, wires, f&r. The resistor and diode should come with the solenoid since I will be buying all this from scottyb

To upgrade a series TXT from 36 to 48v you will need
48v batteries
48v control
48v solenoid (with resistor & diode)
HD F&R
Larger Cable set
48v charger
A towel to wipe the grin off yer face.

Lmao well I'm going to pick up an ezgo in about 2 hours and I want to go ahead and make it a 48v cart. I'm really excited as this is my second project. Still working on my first but I can't pass's up this deal on the ezgo.

Are you going to just be adding 2 6volt batteries or are you changing out the entire pack with new batteries? If just adding batteries be careful of the age of them. I wouldn't mix brand new and older batteries.

Enjoy!
