Voltage Reducer Problem
Need some help, please. I just got a 2012 EZ-GO TXT 48 Volt. It has no lights etc. I went to install a voltage reducer today and it requires 48 volts from the key switch to turn it on and off. When I checked the voltage with a meter at the key switch it only had 3-4 volts not 48. I know I can hook it up direct to the batteries and it will be on all the time, but I can not understand why the key only had 3-4 volts. Is this normal for my model? Any way of turning the reducer on and off with the key? I don't want to install a separate toggle switch if I don't have to. Any ideas?
Sincerely, Cashi |

Re: Voltage Reducer Problem
Are you sure it is not an RXV?

Re: Voltage Reducer Problem
It is positively a TXT. Looking for a point to connect to that will have 48 volts when the key is on. Thanks

Re: Voltage Reducer Problem
There ought to be 48V on keyswitch.
