Thanks. I know there are commercially available products out there. They start at about $60 and hit over $500! If I can't find a 48 volt seat occupancy sensor, I'm right back where I started. How do I trigger it?

Bet he is using nothing more complex than a normally open single pole single throw momentary contact switch.... Think of the old hood pin switches that would have been installed on car alarms, and installed on every riding garden tractor today for the last couple of decades....
Wired in series with the Run/Tow switch.... |

I don't know, I'm not quite seeing it. What goes between my...ahem...posterior and the button? It looks like you drill a hole in the platform and bolt it with the button towards the foam, right? Will my skinny...um backside feel the button?
