On my '04 Precedent Jim ,I replaced the orig.tires and wheels with 205x50x10,polished alum. the cart has always look darn good with this set-up,I'm sure the tread has worn some I have been running them about 2 yrs.I just measured the tires, fully inflated they measure 18.5" @ 25 lbs. air pressure,I think the wheel width has a lot to do with tire height,I suggest calling an after market dealer such as Rockytop Carts in Tenn.,they are on ebay, they have great service.and will help anyway they can.
I put #4 fine strand cables on about a year ago,I didn't notice any speed increase but a slight torque increase getting up to speed, cart tops out about 20.0 or 20.2 mph checked with gps. cart is set on #4 speed level.Hope some of this info is helpful Geno

Better check that front clearance with the 65's. I'll see my friends in a couple days and see how his turns over a "bump", see if it scrubs.

dr.jim.b - What did you decide to do? Did you get the 205/65-10's? If so, how did they work out?

I bought the new wheels & tires on eBay from a dealer in Thomasville, GA called trucks-n-trails - they talked me out of the 205/65-10's
as they said that if I ordered them that way... I would own them - even if they did not fit.

I went with the 205/50-10's which they would "guarantee" to fit without a lift kit, etc. I still think that the slightly larger 205/65-10's would
have fit - I just chickened out because I didn't want to get stuck with 4 tires I would have no use for (if they had not fit w/o rubbing, etc)

Thanks for asking, JazzMan

Take Care, Now!

The Precedent champions edition comes through the factory with 205-50-10 Kenda tires and aluminum wheels.

Yep... we've got a ClubCar dealer close-by to our winter place (in the Villages - Florida) I've seen the 2010 models
with the 205/50-10 Kenda's in his showroom.

What I was trying to find out was: if anyone had tried the 205/65-10's on a ClubCar Precedent and what their
experience was? There are quite a few (non-lifted) Yamaha carts running around here with the 205/65-10 tires
and there does not appear to be any issues with them rubbing or scrubbing.

Thanks! for the input Mr-Fixer..
