Re: Not going forwatd
I'm following the link and testing but when I do this test I do get a voltage reading of 38.48v. Resistor has been disconnected from one side and pedal hasn't been touch for more than an hour.
CHECKING CONTROLLER INPUT Connect (-) probe to B- terminal. Connect (+) probe to B+ terminal. The reading should indicate approx. 0 volts with the resistor REMOVED and the pedal not pressed in the last 15-30 minutes. |

Re: Not going forwatd
Just realized it wasn't in tow mode, but still I get a .80v reading, not 0. A minute before j was getting over 1 volt.

Re: Not going forwatd
Is the battery fresh in your meter? A weak meter battery will give crazy readings
When you try to go ther should be 36v (+) at controller pins # 4,5,7,8,9, and 36v (-) at pin 6 on plug J1 ... all that when you press the go pedal PLUS 36(+) at pin #1&2 at plug J4 36v(+) at 1,2,3,4 pins on J3 See diagram |

Re: Not going forwatd
Lol, I was getting crazy readings with one of my meters, had 70v at one moment, that's when I realized something was wrong and went and got my other meter. Battery in the meter should be less tan a year old. Came with it but it's not a bad idea to replace it with a fresh one. I'll get a new one tomorrow and check again with the last info you're giving me.
I'm about to give up. If it's the controler, what's your opinion about going the rebuilt route vs a new one? |

Re: Not going forward
Don't get me started. There is no such thing as a rebuilt controller. They are repaired. PATCHED. And sent back into service with a prayer.
Save your money - buy new. |

Re: Not going forward
For some reason I have never liked to buy rebuilt or refurbished stuff so I understand what you're saying. Specially when it comes to electrical or electronic stuff.
If the controller is the issue, any idea where would be a good place, cheap, brand to buy? |
