The only thing I'm guessing on is torque, I have GPS'd my speed under all loads. A strong 26 and my brakes are dragging a bit. I have reached 28mph with the wind at my back on flat grade.

Are you sure it wasn't Tropical Storm Fay's wind pushing you to 28 MPH? LOL J/K

Let's race brother!
Seriously, it was teetering on 27-28, my gps does not show decimals. It will reach 27 on a slight decline, no wind. You'd be amazed what a windshield and top will do to your speed. Anytime, you want to go ramble let me know. I'm looking for a good place to take the kids fishing, know of any?

Hey, in my community I'm not even supposed to use the cart yet alone race! I was hoping you could tell me about places to take the cart. My GPS does do decimals and when you’re doing 25.6 the Dash Board will show 26. So maybe if I get a tail wind, put the windshield up to act as a sail, and I head down a slight incline I might hit 27. On the other hand heading into the wind I’ll get 24 MPH so the way it looks you’ll beat me hands down.

Ok so I know this is an old post but. I have this Motor and I am pretty happy with it. It came in my cart when I bought it off a little old lady. She must have moved here from Pasadena. Lol but I'm getting 25mph all day long and 19 up hills in my neighborhood. I am running 20x10-10 turf savers. I have a rear seat kit that added 150lbs and me and the wife together about 400lbs but this thing just keeps up the speed. I want more but I'm not one to throw money out the window just to see it fly away unless I'm going to see some improvement worth spending the $$ so is there a better motor than this or am I already I. The top of the motor rang?
