Smile Teach me!!

Hello great cart wizards,

Just sold my 97 DS today for $450 profit. Nice! Tomorrow I'm going to pick up my next project. A 2008 precedent with an 'upgraded' motor. I'll know more when I see it but it was done professionally at a cart dealer so I'm optimistic. I slent countless hours scouring the threads when I had the DS. Now that I'm moving on to the IQ Sepex motor, I really don't know anything, again. What are the major differences, other than series vs. regen, that I am in store for? Can I just get a simple breakdown of what differences I will notice.

I am aware of speed codes and speed magnets, but other than that, I assume that all other modifications for speed and torque will come with the hefty price tag of new pets like a controller or cables.
The cart is 2008, 4 y.o. Trojan (4 - 12 volt), LED light kit, tented windshield, and aforementioned motor upgrade for $2100. Private owner in private course... I think it's a good deal...

Good luck with whatever decision you make. You made $450 on your old cart, what is your real question?

In my humble opinion, you got rid of an easy to work on almost bulletproof cart for one that is much more complicated. All depends on what you want. Just my opinion.

it all depends on what you want the cart to do or if you just want to flip it
modifications for speed and torque i would only trust Dave Hicks (TahoeDawgZ71) at revolution golf cars
the 08 is a split year so when ordering parts you will need to know if it is a 08 or 08.5
