Search isn't working for me... 98 CC, would like a different top
My search function is playing games again... Always no matches..
So, these CC tops are a little flimsy. Is there anything that would fit a 98 that still has it's stock uprights/supports that feels more like a Yami or EZ-GO top? My old man likes to help himself out of the cart by pulling on the roof... Not quite what the engineers had in mind, I think. |

any 2000.5 and up club car roof and frame will work (you will need the newer supports)
also the front seat back will work too |

But remember if you do get a new top and struts, the windshield is different than pre 2000.5 windshields. If you get a windshield, make sure you get the "new" style.

Used a Precedent top on mind using angled aluminum as adaptors on the stock struts to make them fit.
I like the Precedent top because it has grab handles to get in and out of the cart and it's more rigid to support my light bar on top. |

The new style DS roofs are very stout, the handles are more toward the rear though, it does make using them to assist getting onto the cart awkward.

Oh man... Yeah, I ran into that scenario when I was playing with SeaDoos a lot.. Of all places, I could source SeaDoo parts in Minnesota very easily, whereas here... They just go to the dump.
There are maybe two local dealers who have a small boneyard to pick for a little less than retail around here. Craigslist is OK, but most guys seem to trade in their broken stuff to the above listed dealers towards their next cart. I guess that's good though, since my flips seem to go quick. That said, I still want a quality cart to go out to someone who likely doesn't know how to work on much. Like myself... Thanks go to CTD |
