I did try. In the last 10 days i've learned a bunch about sensor tests, MCOR types, regen, IQ, Excel, battery voltage, FNRs.....I just couldn't figure out how to check the speed setting without the dealer and and his trusty, handheld computer!
My amateur diagnosis, based on everyone here was the speed sensor, which was what it eventually ended up being. I have no doubt that my knowledge gained here will save me a bunch in the future. I tried to make sure my 14 year old didn't even know about Speed setting 4, and hoped he would just be happy with 7mph to 15mph. But alas, he knows how to use the internet as well and has already started asking about it! Thanks again....a good group of guys on here. |
