03 DS Frustrations~
Help! My first post here... Here's the situation: Club Car DS will not fire. Turns over, but will not fire. Here's what I've already done - Replaced fuel pump, blew our fuel lines (fuel is flowing). Cleaned out the carb. Replaced spark plug: it has spark. Bought a new coil/ignitor, put on but no difference (the old coil is on now as a troubleshooting idea). New belts (both). New brushes in generator. Replaced solenoid last summer along with microswitches. I'm running out of ideas! I have compression (120 psi). I have taken disconnected the brown wire from the rev limiter (either way, no go)... PLEASE HELP!

What is the condition of the battery? Did you check the accelerator pedal cable?

Welcome to BGW. At this point I would try 2 things. You may have a bad plug. Replace it, make sure it is snug.
Are you getting fuel into the carb? Try shooting some starting fluid in it. See if it fires. |

Sorry, did not see your post Yamahaguy. Great idea checking the throttle linkage.

Re: 03 DS Frustrations~
Thank you for the quick replies! I will check the linkage tomorrow. The battery is fairly new - I did put a meter on it and (for good measure) put a charger on it for a bit. I'll post back on my progress... Again, THANK YOU!

Re: 03 DS Frustrations~
Oh, I will try the starter fluid as well... I did try it early on, but it's worth another shot. The plug is brand new - I will check it's snugness as well.
