Electric carts during winter
I was wondering if electric carts are ok to use during the winters? I'm going to look at one tomorrow but want to make sure there won't be any problems with it in the snow.

Re: Electric carts during winter
I do know the batteries react differently in winter weather but I imagine you can use it. Just don’t drive through really heavy snow or anything lol might get stuck. Or worse slide down a hill on ice

I don’t know if it will happen to you but the water inside them could freeze too
Just be careful about sliding around |

Re: Electric carts during winter
I use my electric cart year round and have no issues.
The electrolyte in the batteries won't freeze, but plain water in dead batteries can. Just keep your batteries charged and have fun with it. Aflyer |

Re: Electric carts during winter
Yeah I was thinking about that point, that the acid might not freeze

It doesn’t snow much in North Carolina though right? Sure the mountains but. Also, do you have issues with slipping on icy surfaces with the cart?

Re: Electric carts during winter
Limited slip is your friend in winter along with more torque if you want to drive through show.
