84 cc DS
looking at an 84 CC DS for 1500 or less what's your take on it haven't seen it in person but here is a picture looks like he has an ezgo roof and supports on it

Looks pretty good from here. Obviously the shifter handle must be broken off or missing which is why the owner is using vicegrips. I'm guessing that the single phillips-head bolt that holds the shifter handle on may be broke off in the hole. Not really a huge deal.
Also wondering what's going on with the choke button. Normally that's just a round plastic button but whatever's there now looks square (?) Show us some pics of the motor if you can. I see it also has its original 1984 front cowl, so if you ever decide to cut the body for traditional headlights that you make sure to get the smaller kind that will fit it. Where I live that's a really good price for a running, lifted gas cart with a good body. |

You probably dodged a bullet, the KF82 wasn't a *bad* engine, but at 30+ years old it will likely need rebuilding soon and the parts are getting hard to find and expensive for them (not to mention if the rod lets go it often takes out the oil splasher and all kinds of damage happens internally) ...
