Because the only thing worse than a golf cart that only runs for 20 seconds is an unresolved "help request" thread, I am updating this with some good news:
I am glad to report, no more time & sleep will be lost chasing this mysterious gremlin... I met with David yesterday who was able to fix it within about 2 minutes. Turns out the "new" controller that I got from him came out of a cart that had been programmed via GPS to cut off if it was outside of a particular geographical area (golf course, for instance). Obviously the old factory controller from 2004 did not even have that GPS feature of functionality, so it was looked over when installing the new one. If any of you guys are still unconvinced, I can confirm that the rumors you've all been hearing are true...david tahoedawg, is in fact..."the man"! It's undeniable. Thanks again to everyone here who responded and again to David. Appreciate it! |
