97 club car ds regan 1 upgrade suggestions ?

Hey everyone been working on a 97 club car ds my first cart having a lot of fun with it. I was unaware of the regan 1 being problematic so thought would ask everyones opinion where to go when it fails. I have a 6" a arm lift 23" tires hd rear Springs and added a back seat. I will use it mainly around the farm and hunting speed is not a issue 15-18 Mph is fine but would like the torque basically I want a electric utv lol. Hoping factory set up last .but trying to figure out what to do when it goes thanks for help.

If and when it goes, it will most likely be the "T" type controller. The quickest and easiest upgrade to today's technology (lol) is replacing your harness with an IQ harness and then you can run any controller you like as you will have the 16 pin connector. Harness replacement is very easy and you will add a Run/Tow switch and an MCOR with the new harness. I can definitely help you with that. Thanks for the referral NoleFan. It needs to be converted to a more modern system, such as the IQ system. It's not too hard to do. I can explain. Call me if you like.
