1990 DS Steering Wheel

I put a three spoke on a 2008 Carryall once.

all club car shafts are the same back to 81 the new stuff might be diff but all old ones are the same.we sell hubs and wheels some do come off hard we found grabing both sides of the wheel and pulling in a rocking motion is the best way,but we have a split puller that goes over the coluom and that works on the really hard ones

Well I suppose I am one of the lucky ones. Steering wheel on for 28 years. It put up a courageous fight but came off after about a 10 minute battle.

PB Blaster, a pipe wrench, and a 16 oz. carpenters hammer.

Where there's a will, there's a way! I had started to try and take the steering wheel off my 92 DS, while breaking the cart down. I decided it was not worth the effort, for now. I'll probably regret that later on...

I did learn something from this, and I'm glad I did it before painting/fixing up this cart. The PB Blaster, rust etc. got all over everything from smacking the wheel from behind. No big deal right now but would have been a mess to clean up on a finished cart.
