Default Which wire is positive? EzGo total charge model 20484 green face plate

I picked up a used cart being sold on Facebook. The guy had ummm tried to wire the cart up himself by cutting the plugs off and shoving the bare wires in the holes 🙄

We have rewired all the batteries and checked the chargers actual wiring against the diagram. But on it I can't confirm that black wire is positive and white wire is negative before putting the end on it. Anyone able to help me be sure?

The items I highlighted are diodes, they pass only B+ through them (in the direction of the arrow). The large wire that attaches to the plate with the diodes on it is B+

I was going to wire the plug back on but didn't know if it mattered which side of the plug was the white wire or black wire? Does that make sense? If not I blame being blonde and well too many years away from grandpa's bodyshop 🤷🏼*♀️😂

There isn't an official color code for DC wiring, but in general term the Black wire is typically negative while the positive wire is typically Red or White.

In your charger the Black wire is negative and the White wire is positive.

Schematic of your charger attached.
