4-2 motor stall code on an 01 PDS

The cart runs great and all of a sudden it comes to a stop and throws this code. Is there a common issue making this happen?

When it the 4-2 code is occurring, can you push cart by hand????

I'm not sure of the exact conditions needed to initiate this error code, but logically I'll guess the controller thinks it is sending power to the motor and it isn't getting any RPM pulses from the speed sensor, so it thinks the motor is stalled due to a mechanical blockage of some kind.

It’s occurring mid ride...sometimes there are longer periods between and other times it’s multiple times in short spans...I haven’t dug into it yet I was trying to see which direction to go first. Looks like I should check out the speed sensor and see if anything looks funny.

So your PDS card is stock with the stock controller right. Is your car lifted with big tires. How old are your batteries

Yes it’s a fully stock cart no lifted with a backseat and they are almost 5 year old Trojans but I’ve got a meter on them while riding and there’s no weird voltage drops they dare still surprisingly strong.

G'day one and all,

Cart Details
Club Car DS 2007 48v
4 x 12v batteries
Solanoid, under accelerator potentiometer and Speed Sensor replaced

I am getting the following error code:

1510-5250 Motor Stall

The cart will start off, gain speed, plateau/reach consistent max speed and then after 60 metres approx will stall/cut out. Take your foot off the accelerator and it will start going again and then cut out as stated above.

After this happens a couple of times it appears to go into "limp" mode

Any suggestions, please?
