counter clockwise problems?
ok. so, before i take off running on my new project i have some questions:
my '97 club car has a clockwise rotating pto shaft and transaxel. so, can i run the transaxel with a counter clockwise rotating motor? or.....will i have problems. what is the gear ration difference between forward and reverse? why did club car do this ??? just about every motor in existance is ccw rotating. what the heck? if the cw transaxel can be run ccw, obviously the reverse would be the new forward gear etc..... has anyone done this? i really don't want to have to re-invent the wheel here. plus the would be a pretty good in your face to club car. after all their 'help'. |

Re: counter clockwise problems?
I have done it and it suks
No one knows why CC would do such a stupid thing..... The ratio difference is so great that you will be high reving & low speed forward and high speed & gutless in reverse Others opinions may vary |
