Default 2005 Club Car DS voltage drop

Sorry, I went about asking a question the wrong way the first time. I have a '05 Club Car DS that is loosing voltage when I take off. It has new Trojan 8 volt Batteries with new 4 gauge wires. When I check voltage at the charger receptacle it reads 50 volts when I step on the accelarator it drops to 36-37 volts after a brief time. I can hear the motor running at full speed to low speed when this occurs. If I switch the cart to tow back to run it runs fine then it does the samething very shortly afterwards. Do yall think it could be either the speed sensor or the MCOR and could someone give me some troubleshooting tips. THANKS!

sounds like you may have a bad battery. check every cell with a hydrometer and/or every battery with a load tester.

I have put two different sets of batteries in her and it does the samething, the old set of trojans and I put a new April 2010 set of 8 volt trojans and it is doing the samething. I will still check but I'm still thinking it must be somethingelse.

The tach sensor/speed sensor on my Advance motor was bad I checked the magnet and tightened replaced sensor with a new one and is working properly now. Thanks for the replies I hope this helps anyone having the same problem..

Have you taken the time to break the batterys in correctly as shown in stickies above? There is a major difference in performance between NEW Batterys and New Batterys with 10-15 charge cycles done properly.
