1994 36v ezgo medalist no go
So, I bought a non running cart with the hope of getting it running. I've other posts to get to where I am now. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
I couldn't get anything g going and the batteries wouldn't charge. When I pushed the gas I could hear a switch click not an electrical click. Additionally the charger wouldn't come on to charge batteries. I bought new batteries and installed them. This solved the charger problem. However, when I pushed the gas the cart was hesitant and jumpy and then it quit. After it quit I noticed the click sound in the throttle went away. So, I figured the microswitch went out. I accessed through the floor and decided to bypass it to see if that was the problem. I connected the two wires and turned the key and I heard a donk or pop sound under the seat and nothing worked when I pushed the pedal. It also had a rubber electrical smell under there as well. I bought and replaced the microswitch anyways, but still nothing. Also, when I turn the switch to reverse it still beeps. Did I burn something up when I bypasses the microswitch? Could the ignition switch have anything to do with it? I'm stuck now, needing some guidance. Any help would be great fully appreciated. Thanks. |
