Im sure there is already a thread on here about this, but when it comes time to buy new batteries for an ezgo series txt cart, how much money would i be looking at to make it a 48V cart using six 8V batteries? I coulda swore someone told me the that the series carts motors could take 48V...

Batteries +-720
controller 350-600
charger 300-450
Solenoid 50-100
Udgraded f/r cam. 50
Cables 50- 200

The look on Scotty's face when you finally get a cart and start ordering parts- Priceless

Those are realistic prices I have seen some members get killer deals on some of these components on craigslist or such, like the Lester 48v charger for $50 but that isn't going to happen for everybody. If I am buying a cart to build a 48v conversion I prefer to find a cart needing batteries and maybe a controller so the initial investment is low.

I thought you had a 36V? Im so confused....I know yall are sick of hearing it, but when your 17 years old and work your *** off to save money, making the right decisions is everything. I just have a bad feeling that a 36V cart is not going to pull a couple people up a good size hill, and when it doesnt, guess what, im 2500 dollars in a hole, and wont get it back because you cant resale them for what you have in them.
