Default 05/06 TXT PDS questions

Hi all. Looking at a 05/06 TXT PDS cart. Are lift kits readily available for this . how about reprogramming for more speed. once lifted, tires and wheels. The lift would probably be an alltrax lift. What would be a rough guess as to how much the listed upgrades would cost. new wheels would just be steel Kinda like the hunting buggy thread. Thanks all.

I'm sure it will need new batteries and I would change the cables out to 4 ga.

You shouldn't have any problem finding a lift for that cart in just about whatever height you want. If you still have the stock controller and it doesn't have the freedom chip in it, that will put you up to 19ish with stock tires. If you lift it and put the bigger tires/wheels you will have more speed but will eventually cook the controller. As for costs, well, all depends on what you want to do. Cheap lift with say 22" cheap wheels and tires, your pushing $650 to 700. But you won't be content Then the controller/motor/72 volts/cage/etc, all for another say, second mortgage

Northern carts get seasonal use so they should be in fair shape ... Check steering and brakes if you get to pick thru them.
Good Luck

I just paid $1,100 for a 2005 TXT PDS with 2008 Trojan batteries.
Seller then gave me $150 back because it was listed as a 2006 But I found out it was a 2005 (after getting it home 3 hours later) and a tire won't hold air.
So I'm into this cart for $950 and it has head lights (An EZGO option I think)
