Won't run with muffler connected
I have 1984 Ez-GO with the stock 2 strokem 244c engine.
It starts, but barely and won't accelerate above idle, Unless i disconnect the muffler than it runs fine. I blew air through the muffler with a vacuum cleaner and it does not seem clogged at all. What else could it be? |

Re: Won't run with muffler connected
Be assured it is pluged up a good old BBQ will probably take care of your problem. Build a good fire and place it in the fire you will see most likely flames come out of both ends. Let it cool wire brush it paint it with high temp paint and reinstall it with new gaskets and i'll bet your done. Good luck let us know how it turns out.
