Default 98 txt wiring connection

cant find where to connect this bad boy? wiring was broken when I picked it up...cant make heads or tails of any of the wiring diagrams...thanks for any help...

To me, that looks like the wire coming from the reed switch.If the cart is running,someone has bypassed the reed switch.This switch is used to stop someone from driving the cart while it's still plugged into the charger.

I suspect the other end of the wire you're holding connect to the small white wire coming out of the charger receptacle and the small red wire coming off the B+ battery terminal is connected to MS-2 on the F/R assembly.

Looks like somebody might have by-passed the infamous Reed switch.

If not, does the reverse beeper work?

That's all I can think of.

that is the reed switch wire. you can see in the pic where there is a red wire from the battery to the left micro, where the red/white wire used to go. very common fix. even ez-go got rid of the reed switch on later models.

Here is a pic, look just behind the cable, and you can see where it hooks up.

Thanks guys! Problem solved and cart now seems ready for charging...did some troubleshooting on the charger and new part is on the way! Hope to be cruising later this week.
