Default jacobsen 1110 wont start

Hello
I am working on a jacobsen 1110 hauler with the robin 350 engine
I was told that they are the same as the e-z-go work horse

I have installed a new aftermarket starter generator, battery 450cca, voltage regualtor, carb.

The machine wont fire, Tested both plugs and they are sparking.

If I put on the battery charger with it on boost so another 250 amps the starter will spin fast and the machine will start. If I go drive it so the engine warms up and let it turn off it will restart no problem. But left overnight it will not start.

Also while in the no starting senerio if I pull the crank breather hose off of the aircleaner housing the machine will start.

I did a compressoin reading and only got high 60s.

Is there a compression relief system for starting?

Any thing else I should consider?

Thanks for your help
Bob

Compression should be about 120 psi per cylinder, at least.

Is there a compression relife on these engines?
I guess I just went to NAPA and bought a battery that was the same group size.

Should there be air coming out of the crank breather at all operation even starting?

Don't remember if the pully on the starter/generator was the same size as the original, How big should he pully be-mabey a bigger pully would spin it fast enough

Thanks Bob
