Re: Trailer Hitch on my Cart
This is my hitch and the trailer I have moved with it.It flotes the front end without a passenger but has not bent the frame.

Re: Trailer Hitch on my Cart
That looks like it spreads the load out nicely. I was also thinking about putting two shocks on either side close to where the shock is now down to the horizontal bar the hitch is on.
I'm afraid that my cart is more work than looks also ;) Thanks Mark |

Re: Trailer Hitch on my Cart
Hi Night, I put the same hitch on mine bolted it though, and made brackets to go from the front of the hitch to existing brackets on cart works good hitch hardly moves I use a 5x10 foot trailer with a tailgate ramp and haul the zero turn mower on it with no problem except for stopping fast on a hill which is to be expected hope this helps, here are some pictures of how I mounted it, sorry pics not real clear.

Re: Trailer Hitch on my Cart
I'd get a factory receiver. They run the full width of the frame and provide their own reinforcement. If you can find one, cut the rear crossmember off a Medalist cart. They are way more solid than the later TXT framework.
