Default Front receiver hitch for 09 Precedent

Does anyone know where I can find a front receiver hitch mount for an 09 Club Car Precedent? I'm having a hard time locating one, thanks.

Did you find a front receiver hitch yet? I have been looking for one too and cant seem to find one. I am wanting to have a receiver up front so I can switch my winch from front to back. I was thinking about making my own front receiver by buying a 2 inch receiver tube shown here: ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/181010182325...84.m1438.l2649 ) and welding a rectangular piece of steel plate to the top of it so that it is wide enough to bolt on the bottom of the frame in the front using the same two bolts that currently hold the headlight kit on. Sorry I dont have any pictures of this idea I just thought about it last night and I looked at the cart today and I believe it will work. I do not want to get rid of my headlight kit thats the only reason I am thinking about mounting it underneath them using longer and slightly bigger bolts and bolting it to the frame, through the same headlight mount holes for strength.

Just wanted to post some pictures of this front receiver hitch I made for my precedent. I bought a 2" receiver tube that was 6" long and unpainted from Agri Supply for $9. I fabricated two rectangular tube pieces out of scrap metal I had and I welded them on the sides of the tube and they mount to the frame of the cart using the same two bolts that hold the headlight assembly to the frame. the rear of the receiver tubing mounts with a 5/8" bolt to the front tow hook plate that holds the front leaf spring on. The attached pictures show the bare parts before I welded them, after I welded it up and painted it, and then the final product installed with my winch. The main reason I made this was to mount my winch and you can see I have the winch hooked up with a quick connect plug for when I want to take it off. The winch is powered by my auxiliary marine battery that powers my HID lights and stereo system. It seems to have plenty of power to deliver to the winch even under a load and the receiver hitch it plenty strong enough for the 3000 lb. winch. Let me know if anybody has any questions.

Clemson I like your Ideal. I have a hitch on the front of my Jakes long travel lift and also have a 3000pd winch, I have wanted to mount and use when needed.

I was wondering where did you place your extra 12volt battery in your cart

Hi Clemsonprecedent,

Would you be willing to make another one? I would be glad to pay you for it!

Thank you,
Rhonda

I am also interested in seeing your additional 12v battery setup. Please post some pictures.
