Default What are these g1 or g2

I'm a newbie here and I'm about to purchase 2 carts neither run but was told the green one needs a top end and brown one just needs a new carb put on which comes with it. I don't know what they are other than they are yamaha and from the early 80's.

Please someone tell me what these are so I can find info on them

Ok that's what I was thinking they were. I'm looking at them today. It's a family friend that is selling them and is asking 350 for the pair just to recoop the cost of the lift and tires on the brown one. Is there anything I should look for on these that could tell me that it's a waste of money? I've always liked lifted carts and I want to get something for my wife to drive around with my youngest son since he is to young to ride on his own.
Do they make a long travel kit for these?

No long travel made for this cart, but you can make your own from atv parts for sure. The G2-G9 kits are very similar and may be able to be adapted to fit, although I haven't seen anyone do it.
