Default I can't afford a V-twin

I just finished my 95 DS build, and my buddies G16 still gets me in power. I bought an 05 G22 and a 00 G16. I like the G22 cuz it has the biggest motor, but it doesn't have many lift options. Anyone got input on this? Anyone used the Plowmans power kits? Thanks

That's excellent! But I'm looking for hill climbing torque. How is that?

I put the hot set up on my 99 G16 and am over 30 mph at the top end. If you're interested in that Don will speak with you about your driving conditions and what you're looking to accomplish with your cart (hill climbing ability, speed, etc.) He'll set up the parts specifically for what you want out of the cart.I know the 16 has a smaller motor, but it's an option.

I picked up this '00 G16 for $2k. I think it was a steal! Fold down back seat, extended top, lights front and rear, and a brand new in the box rain cover. All my friends have G16's and they are great. I just want to out do them. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be as my aftermarket options out there got the G22 as the G16.

I would lean toward the hot set up then. My dad also has a 16 with a 13hp clone in it. It's got a lot of low end torque, and respectable top end. Plowman's also makes a cam for the 301cc engine that with the hot set up is supposed to really wake up the engine. The cam is on my list of add ons when the time comes to rebuild the engine.

Either way, I'm gonna have to wait to build up my bank roll to do anything. I will get some thing done this winter. Anyone else wanna add your 2 cents?
