Re: Confused with TXT PDS
Thanks ScottyB! I thought so, I just wanted to make sure. I used to be a mechanic and I worked for a local race shop out here in Colorado. But decided I needed a change, and this was it. You would think Golf Carts would be easier than a race car.
And thanks RadioMan. Process of elimination. Lol. Finally think I got it figured out. Cart has still yet to die on me. Does anyone have any idea why the reverse buzzer was intermittent? Still a little puzzled on that one. Cameron |

Re: Confused with TXT PDS
Cameron......personally......as long as the cart will go forward and backwards when ask to....I wouldn't care, but take it upon myself to ensure people were out of the way when backing up.....just like I do in my car. cause it sure doesn't have a back-up alarm on it.

Re: Confused with TXT PDS
Oh I completely agree. The only reason I ask is because I know on the PDS Cart the reverse buzzer is powered by the controller. In my head I was thinking that just meant the controller was on the verge of blowing up the whole time. I was just curious.
Thanks sir nuke! Cameron |

(Small Red wire on battery side large solenoid terminal. The wire also sends B+ to J1 Pin-5) However, both controllers connect B- to the beeper to make it scream at you. Could be a bad beeper, bad controller, bad wire or bad connection. Here is the circuit highlighted. My top suspects are the crimp-on connectors at the beeper and the inline connection on the Red wire in the wiring harness. |

Re: Confused with TXT PDS
And JohnnieB you were right again. After tracing the wire I found that someone had tried to tape a ripped wire... But I got it fixed and the buzzer works on demand now. Thanks again guys! Always a ton of help!!
