HD Rear Springs
I installed these two years ago and it appears to me that they have lost all arch to them..
This is my first cart and only cart project so please let me know if you think this looks normal... The cart does sit lower in the rear after installing the Coil Springs on all 4 corners. Are all HD springs made the same? I need the most HD ones they make.. |

Re: HD Rear Springs
No not all HD springs are made the same. The cheap china ones sag pretty quickly. Generally factory ezgo HD springs are your best bet but every spring will settle over time from new.
If you want super HD spings look at some trailer springs. The ones sold at Agri Supply (Tractor Supply sister store) has a set the same length as ezgo that can be modified to work using custom bushings. |

Re: HD Rear Springs
If it sits lower with the coils, then they are too short, and pulling it down.It probably doesn't ride good either.Check the trailer springs, but look closely, since most are rated per-spring for their rating,so if its a 750lb spring, the rear will have 1500lb springs. The leaf count and thickness of each leaf is key.Thinner leafs will be softer, even in a higher leaf-count pack.I have a trailer-spring book with me(camping),post dimensions and i can look into it.Hope this helps.

Re: HD Rear Springs
Are the rear HD springs 27" or 27.5"? I'm thinking about trying these out
