Help with G2 Batteries
Hello,
I have a friend with a Yamaha G2 golf cart that is in need of batteries. He was wondering where the best and cheapest place is to get them. Also another question I don't know what volt he has but arent the 2 common ones 36 and 48 Volt? Is there any benefit to running a 36 volt motor with 48 volt batts or vise versa? Thanks Nick |

Re: Help with G2 Batteries
If you change voltage from 36 to 48, you would have to change the soleniod and battery charger. Stock G2's are 36 volt.
Trogan Batteries are the best but not the cheapest. Napa or Sams Club carry cheaper batteries. Most last 3 years vs Trogans can last 5- 6 years. Here is a more to read about Napa vs Trogan http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...jan-price.html |
