Motor runs after I pressed the brake and a short backfire.
I just purcheased this 2005 EZGO TXT and was driving around the block a few times then parked it in my driveway and the motor continued to run for about 5 seconds then backfired. Is there a reason for this?

I would guess someone has funked up the the throttle cable adjustments to cause this. Happens when people try adjusting the governor incorrectly. proper adjusting of throttle and gov. can be found in the sticky threads.
