Re: '91 EZ-Go Marathon TXT Electric battery help
I hate to burst anybody's bubble here but.......IT probably has a battery wired wrong (running on 30 volts) unless the voltage is damagingly low

Re: '91 EZ-Go Marathon TXT Electric battery help
Yes I have access to a voltage meter, no I don't really know how to use it properly. But I know someone who does and is at least somewhat familiar with my cart. So maybe Thurs I can get'em to have a real look.
I'm just glad nothing was really wrong. I went through and gooped, greased and even sprayed a little. *Except the terminals for now. No sense doing that till I'm 100% sure, lol. PS, You guys can't imagine what your dealing with on this end, lol. Seen my profile? DO I look like a machanic? NM don't answer that.... By the way I do love checking out the profiles and seeing all your projects finished or not. Some are really up there on the wow factor. Very nice. |

Re: '91 EZ-Go Marathon TXT Electric battery help
Also check the accelerator linkage for any damage.. If the nitwits that stole the cart rode it hard off road, the linkage under the cart may have been damaged/bent, and is not fully actuating the potentiometer..
