Default How To Check Accelerator Potentiometer

1997 Clubcar Ds Regen1 That Does Not Move.motor Hums When Pressing The Go Pedal ,i Do Hear The Solenoids Clicking. If You Can Help I Can Read A Volt Meter But I Do Not Know How Much Voltage Needs To Be And Where

I think your cart has an MCOR, not a pot. Either way the signal will be in 5K-0 ohms, not volts......but, if the motor is humming it is getting voltage so it seems the ohms are getting to the controller to tell it to send volts to the motor? If you put it on jacks do the wheels turn when the gas is pushed? What is the pack voltage?

tHANKS FOR THE RESPONSE!!
THIS IS A 48VOLT ,NEW BATTERIES 49 VOLT OUTPUT .WHEN JACKED UP THE WHEELS DO NOT TURN. NOTE I HAVE PUT ANOTHER MOTOR ON IT WITH THE SAME RESULTS.

How new are batteries ?
When did it quit ?
What was done to the cart just prior to it quitting ?

Okay.... TAKE THE CAP LOCK OFF..... We use it to raise our voices

49 vollts is low. Recharge the batteries... So you have a known good motor in it now? And the solenoid clicks? It is either a controller or OBC problem.
