Default ignition problem

some times when i turn the key to forward the cart will not go and does nothing... some times it works.
and always works in reverse..
any ideas on what could be wrong.

I would suspect the FWD solenoid.

If it is an older one, you can take it apart and clean the contacts.

im gonna look at it this week. its at my camp ground.

If it does it intermittently, and it can be taken apart, it should cost $0.00.
