G1 butterfly valve linkage
Has anyone found or made the butterfly linkage for the G1? The one rod I am looking to make for find is the one from the carburator to linkage arm. Looking forward to your replies. Thanks

Re: G1 butterfly valve linkage
When I bought my first G1 someone had made a repair to mine using a thin piece of thread all. Worked perfect.

Re: G1 butterfly valve linkage
Seems like you could bend one up out of thin rod. If you can get the right size its easy to run a die on the end and thread it. Seems like you could find a used one given the large number of G1 out there, but I don't know where off hand. It does not serve much of a purpose, they later eliminated them. If tuned perfectly it will work, I experimented with them, but didn't see much effect and rarely were they tuned properly on the 60 carts I played with. It was slightly quieter at part throttle.
