Yamaha G16AT
I have a Yamaha Gas G16AT. It has a slight hum and delay before the engine start when you push down the gas pedal. Sometimes are worse than others. i replaced the solenoid and it still does it. Sometimes I don't think it is going to go at all but will finally kick in and run like crazy

Could be a worn out belt that is out of adjustment (the skinny belt).
