Ezgo Robins 290 or 350 both had blow by problems as they aged. We used to put nylon scrub pad material in the crankcase vent to catch the oil. This still let the pressure by with less oil.

It is a 97 workhorse cart with a Robins 350 engine. I also notice gray smoke blowing out the PCV valve. I initially put in 1.75 quarts which started the problem. I drained oil again and went back with only 1 quart and still doing the same thing.

If your getting oil in the breather box then its compression blow by which indicates ring wear... I would look at my valve adjustment and check compression.. That will tell you what direction you need to go in.
