Solenoid
I bought a new Solenoid last year and cart did not work after winter
so I bypassed Solenoid and wheels turned so guessing I need another problem is the cart is up for sale don't want to spend 85-90 on another can you go with Solenoid if has the same amount of post an ezgo is only 18.99 so if 36V 200A Solenoid it should work correct |

Re: Solenoid
Is the power present at the small solenoid terminals when pedal pressed? I bet its not. Solenoids dont fail due to setting over the winter. If you wanna waste some dough buying parts without diagnosing first, go ahead and order that puny ezgo solenoid.

Re: Solenoid
when the gas is pressed nothing at small post
gas pressed the large post have 36/37 and when not pressed not positive but thinking that I tested the motor and it works perfect I pressed gas while bypassing solenoid and tires turned if not bypassing the solenoid wheels do nothing so I been trying other things I checked wires / sanding connections / checked motor solenoid was not my first option because just bought it last year and crazy if it is that the solenoid is not clicking also |

Re: Solenoid
No power at small terminal says solenoid is not your current problem, as it is not being told to turn on by the cart. What model cart?

Re: Solenoid
Find and fix the problem on the small terminal side. Could be the micro-switch on the pedal. If the cart works with the solenoid bypassed, then the problem is not a difficult one to solve. Do NOT leave the solenoid bypassed. It is a major safety feature.

Re: Solenoid
Ok, with key on, check for 36v at pedal switch. If good, follow path you already checked, but check for 36v +. If no good, check for 36v at key switch, check both sides of switch at plug (meter probe at pack B+ while checking small black wire, meter probe at pack B- when check small red wire, do test and press pedal during test with key on to see if power "goes away"), check other fuse in area of "already checked fuse", there is a fuse for B+ & B- circuits on cart. Put cart on jack, so it dont run away if it decides to work.
