Charger problems 48v Drive
Needing some help, whenever i plug my charger up into the wall the power light comes on a usual, then when plugging into the cart just the power light stays on nothing else, no error light or anything will come on, brand new baterries installed so just wondering if anyone is familiar with these chargers and can possibly help me, thanks in advance!

Make sure that the cables going to the charge plug got hooked up correctly when new batteries were installed.

Yea i double checked that, hooked my charger to a buddys cart and still only the red power light stays on nothing else lights up

Is the silver one with blue writing on the side its a yamaha charger has all the lights on the right side of the front, its not letting me upload a pic or i could show you

Tall charger (one foot tall roughly), or short charger with fan on the back?

Short with a fan on the back, plan on tearing it apart tomorrow, any suggestion on what to look for?

Blown caps. That is the common failure with that charger. There are four big ones and they tend to fail and rupture.

Yeah, but also look carefully at the mosfets on the heatsink inside (they are in these Grey rubber boots), look at the bottom of the boots & board below for smoke trails.
