If you find someone who knows their way around the programmer, the acceleration on both modes can be adjusted to your liking (it's set pretty tame, even in "rabbit mode", but there is a limit of what the stock controller can do, it's quite a bit more than it's programmed for now).

One more question.
The charging cord seems to be nothing more than a regular extension cord with an inline GFCI device but my outdoor outlet already has GFCI. As a result, can I use any extension cord provided the wire gauge is sufficient?
