91 2 stroke Throttle linkage bracket broken
Hey guys, first time poster here and hoping to get some insight into what just happened. Its a 91 ezgo with the 2 stroke engine. It wouldn't start so I went to take a look at the engine. I noticed the throttle linkage bracket was not attached. The post that comes out of the rear end (part of the governor??) was sheared off. When I went to look at the post it fell down in the rear end. How screwed am I? I'm pretty mechanically savy, but do I really have to take the WHOLE rear end apart to get to it? Can I even find a replacement (I've looked and can't find anything online)? Am I better off just taking it to a shop?
