Default Workhorse heating up and losing power

I have a 2007 ezgo gas 350 workhorse I have done new carburetor new fuel lines new fuel pump new spark plugs oil change valve adjustment it runs good whenever you drive it around the yard but if I drive it more then say 3 miles at one time it starts to get hot and act sluggish i'm going to replace the original drive belt this weekend to see if that helps if you have any suggestions please let me know

You'd be amazed how much goo and gunk get stuck inside the plastic engine shroud - and in the cylinder fins - which severely affects engine cooling. Pull the shroud, I'd be willing to bet between that and the actual cylinder fins You're plugged solid which is causing the overheating. As a rule, on all my "personal" carts I make sure and clean them out every season if not more often.

black plastic, passenger side (gas tank side) yes.

Pull the engine,remove the shroud,pressure wash it till its prissy clean. Run synthetic oil and all will be good
