2008 YDRE brakes clicking ????
Customer just brought in a 2008 YDRE, lifted, 23" tires and a rear seat. Customers complaint was the grinding noise in the rear end. I removed the motor and installed a new motor to input shaft bushing. The noise went away. But now when you get on the brakes hard they make a clicking noise almost like a spring is being would too tight. Once the cart stops and you accelerate the clicking noise is there for just a couple of seconds then goes away. If you simply take your foot off the gas pedal and coast to a stop or switch directions with the direction switch there is no clicking noise not during the slowing or accelerating. I did drain and refill the diff with the recommended oil and friction modifier. Noise is still there . Any suggestions?
