Default Removing Plastic fastners from floor mat

I have a G29 and want to check under the floor mat to check on the brake pedal area for debree and lube it while there.

I know I must remove the plastic "rivets" and do not want to break them so any hints for that or the removal is appreciated.

Default Re: Removing Plastic fastners from floor mat

I use 2 small screwdrivers to pop them up a little then I have some nail pullers to remove the center rivet the rest of the way. If it comes out completely that's fine, it will just push back in.
