YDRE bad front end alignment?
2007 YDRE 48V. when I first got the cart I noticed that the front end toed out quite a bit, but I thought that was just the way Yamahas were, well...The front tires are wearing excessively on the outer part of the tire tread. And it is way more noticeable on the driver side. Driver side is bald, and passenger side is barely worn. Any ideas, I've looked for adjustments but see nothing. What am I missing? Thanks

Re: YDRE bad front end alignment?
You can make a Toe adjustment, that should cure your issue.

Re: YDRE bad front end alignment?
Thanks for the reply. Nothing looks bent. That's the thing, I don't see anything that would make that toe adjustment. all I see is adjustments on the steering rack...

The tie rod ends will make the adjustment.

Re: YDRE bad front end alignment?
You typically ride alone? With bad alignment, a "solo" cart will typically destroy a passenger side tire first (passenger side slips first, more weight to plant driver's side tire). Get the toe set to almost zero "toe-in". 1/16 " inch toe in is my favorite. With heavier passengers, toe has to be set with some weight on the cart as it's adjusted. Not talkin smack, just calls it like I sees it.

...And when your wife refuses to hold the other side of the tape measure here is my little secret... Measure outside of board to outside of board front and back of the tire and compare!

Re: YDRE bad front end alignment?
If you are talking about this \---/ from top to bottom, there is no adjustment for that. You could elongate the holes to allow you to tilt the struts in.
