All batteries dead at same time?
1984 G1. Sunday, all of my batteries we charged enough to run the cart for about a mile or so. My goal was to do a voltage drop test on each battery individually as I drove. Battery bank total was just over 36V. got home and wanted to back into driveway, but did not have enough juice to make it up the slight slope. Went to pull forward and it would not move-except backward!
I replaced 2 of the worse batteries yesterday as well as the solenoid. My total bank voltage is only about 1.5V. I would expect to see at least 12 or 13V since I have 2 new in the bank. Charged it overnight and total bank voltage is still only 1.6 or so, but my 2 new batteries still have full voltage. What am I missing in my troubleshooting? |

Re: All batteries dead at same time?
Plug in charger and see if the speed control coils are getting hot. Don't leave it on if the coils are getting hot. Are you running some makeshift battery pack? Or 6x 6 volt batteries as intended.

Re: All batteries dead at same time?
Solenoid stuck on, discharging batteries, and trying to start your cart on fire.
