Re: Help with first gas cart
These threads are blending together. I know I just read one about somebody installing an electric pump. Apparently it wasn't this one.

LOL. My take was he was wanting to go from electric BACK to mechanical and did not know where it went. My bad.

Re: Help with first gas cart
It is a two cycle 3pg robin engine. It has a new carburetor and a new fuel pump and it only runs with the choke almost full. Who knows what could be wrong?

Re: Help with first gas cart
No ideas? I’m not real good with gas engines... enough to be dangerous.

Re: Help with first gas cart
If it needs the choke it has to be too lean. Turn the mixture screw out .5 turn and see if that helps

Re: Help with first gas cart
Make sure you have the right spark plug and it it at the correct gap. All rubber gas line connections should have a clamp. The new carb should be taken apart and cleaned. Plenty of other articles of new (dirty) carbs. Clean all jets and finish with a compressed air. And wear those safety glasses. Good luck.
